Baeva Albena
Albena Baeva works in the field of interactive design, experimental video and performance. In 2010 she graduated the master programme Digital Art at the Art Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. She uses open source software and DIY practices for building new musical instruments and interactive installations for urban space and galleries.
Biskup Max
Max Biskup is a Vienna based video artist and filmmaker. As the artistic director of the RIVE Visual Art Programme he collaborated with Albena Baeva, Tibor Nagy Grosso, Dante Murillo and Manaho Shimokawa researching and creating for the ship's exhibition. His contribution investigates the dualism of fluidity and hardness that exists in human conciousness and experience.
Bojovic Filip
Filip Bojovic is a Novi Sad based graphic designer and visual artist. He graduated from the Academy of Arts Novi Sad and is the founder of A3 Format, a platform for self-publishing. He is responsible for RIVEs visual appearance and the take-away items on board.
Buhme Rebekka
Rebekka Böhme is dancer and choreographer from Berlin. She has worked internationally in a wide scope of dance including theatre, installation, film and improvisation. She will be dancing in the evening performance on board and also host open public workshops in urban spaces.
Goral Michal
Michal Goral is a Polish dancer who graduated from the Rotterdam Dance Academy in 2013. Before joining RIVE he performed with the International Dance Theatre in Amsterdam. He will be dancing in the evening performance on board and also host open public workshops in urban spaces.
Görgenyi Gabor
Gabor Görgenyi is a Budapest based percussionist and teacher working internationally. He is performing live with the other RIVE musicians on board, and hosting open public workshops in urban spaces.
Grosso Tibor Nagy
Tibor Nagy Grosso is a visual artist and creative researcher who works mainly with installations, video and interactivity.
He generally refers to philosophical paradoxes, socio-psychological aspects, illusions and the phenomenon of digitalisation. The main characteristic of his artistic approach is a creative non-formal way of experimenting with miscellaneous media.
Jeliazkov Jivko
Jivko Jeliazkov is a Sofia based choreographer and the artistic director of the RIVE Dance Programme. He is co-founder of Bulgaria's first contemporary dance center.
The performance Jivko created in collaboration with dancers, musicians and visual artist Albena Baeva is inspired by the combination between man and water.
Kukucska Gergely
Gergely Kukucska is a Budapest based Architect and the artistic director of the RIVE Design Programme. He collaborated with Balint Toth, Filip Bojovic, Miklos Tomor and David Varga to create installments on the ship and mobile units to travel into town during the stops. The units hold all necessary equipment to run our public workshops.
Martino Elena
Elena Martino is an Italian dancer and teacher based in Cologne and graduated from ZZT. She will be dancing in the evening performance on board and also host open public workshops in urban spaces.
Matela Partyk
Patryk TikTak Matela s a pioneering beatboxer and vocal coach from Warsaw, and the author of the first human beatbox manual. As a musician he combines beatox with musical styles from all over the world. He is performing live with the other RIVE musicians on board, and hosting open public workshops in urban spaces.
Milanov Philip
Philip Milanov is a Sofia based dancer. He has been working togerther with choreographer Jivko Jeliazkov for several years. He will be dancing in the evening performance on board and also host open public workshops in urban spaces.
Nikolic Ljubomir
Ljubomir Nikolic is a composer and musician from Novi Sad.
He is performing live with the other RIVE musicians on board, and hosting open public workshops in urban spaces.
Paszthy Ilona
Ilona Paszthy is a Cologne based cheoreographer and teacher.
As the artistic director of RIVE she collaborated with artists from all disciplines in order to combine the contributions to a coherent presentation as a whole.
Sobiczewski Kamil
Kamil Sobiczewski is musician and producer from Warsaw. As the artistic director of the RIVE Music Programme he collaborated with Gabor Görgenyi, Patryk Matela and Ljubomir Nikolic creating the music for the evening show on board.
Tomor Miklos
Miklos Tomor is a Budapest based designer engaged in NGO work around the Danube in Hungary. He is a part of the RIVE design team that created the installments on the ship and the mobile units that travel into the hosting cities.
Toth Balint
Balint Toth is a Budapest based designer. He is a part of the RIVE design team that created the installments on the ship and the mobile units that travel into the hosting cities. He will also be holding open workshops on board.
